Rocky Road Bark

This was super easy! Get a pack of chocolate chips put them in a saucepan on low stirring often when they’re all melted down, add almonds and marshmallows. Then let them sit for 5 minutes to cool, while they are cooling line an 8x8 pan with wax paper. Once cooled pour contents into pan and then place in refrigerator for 10 minutes or until you’re ready to serve. Once you’re ready take the bark out of the pan and cut to serve!!

It’s super rich but soooo yummy!! My family loved it!! And it’s a great no bake recipe!! I’m just glad that this months dessert didn’t get left until the last minute!! Only one more month until my dessert bucketlist goal is complete.
October is gone, lets face it! But it didn’t pass us by without me completing my monthly goal of baking something new for my hubby! I found this recipe on Pinterest and it was super easy and equally as delicious! It’s this awesome chocolate chip cookie peanut butter cup brownie! It was originally made in cup cake tins but I prefer everything in a pan… Either way it’s super easy and quick this is what I did…
Preheated the oven to 350 Made the brownie mix
Took a 8x8 pan sprayed it with Pam or any other cooking spray
Got a roll of cookie dough let it sit out at room temperature (you can put it in the microwave until soft) then pressed it into the pan
Next I added peanut butter cups on top of cookie topside down (I used 6) but you could use more
Finally I added the brownie mix on top then baked it for 30 minutes.
The original recipe called for break apart cookies in a cup cake tin for 18 minutes if you’d like to try it that way… Either way it was super yummy and a hit with the family!! My husband actually had one this morning for breakfast! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
This is what I baked as part of my end of year bucket list! It’s a pumpkin-chocolate and chocolate chips loaf cake! It’s pretty tasty! It was super easy to make and I found the recipe on Pinterest!! The original recipe made 6 big muffins but I thought the cake was easier for me!!

The recipe is one chocolate box cake one 15 oz can of pumpkin and mini chocolate chips.

You preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Mix the pumpkin and cake mix together for 2 minutes, add chocolate chips put in pan add more chips to the very top.

If you make muffins bake for 20-25 minutes if you do the loaf cake I baked it for about 35-40 minutes!!

I think this was a success, not only was it super easy, it was good and my family enjoyed it as well!!
September’s Almost Over… If I want to stay true to my end of year bucket list I have got to find a new dessert to make/ bake for my husband! Time is ticking and I want to actually accomplish this goal!! any suggestions??

My End of The Year Bucket List Today I realized that I could have a yearly bucket list not just an end of my life list. So I’m super excited to start my list for the end of the year… •To buy my very own iPad in cash (I’ve been saving for a while now and am almost there) •To go somewhere for one of the holidays that has nothing to do with that said holiday • To be able to better communicate with my Spanish speaking customers at work •To bake something new once a month (this month was banana pudding) •To finish the book I am reading on prayer I think those are all doable most will just take some discipline and determination on my part but I can’t wait to be able to cross these items off my list and begin to think about my list for the next year!!

My End of The Year Bucket List

Today I realized that I could have a yearly bucket list not just an end of my life list. So I’m super excited to start my list for the end of the year…

•To buy my very own iPad in cash (I’ve been saving for a while now and am almost there)

•To go somewhere for one of the holidays that has nothing to do with that said holiday

• To be able to better communicate with my Spanish speaking customers at work

•To bake something new once a month (this month was banana pudding)

•To finish the book I am reading on prayer

I think those are all doable most will just take some discipline and determination on my part but I can’t wait to be able to cross these items off my list and begin to think about my list for the next year!!

I just realized that I really enjoy toasted bagels with cream cheese!! So yummy!! I had one for breakfast and now for my before work snack!!
